Ekadhina Laksharchanai (02 Oct 2016) at Thappalampuliyur

As a new initiative of SNASS, this year we performed “Ekadhina Laksharchanai” on 02-10-2016 which fell on the second day of Navarathri Festival ( 1-10-2016 to 10-10-2016), with the support of all local and outside devotees of Sri Nithyakalyani Amman. Of course, as usual the participation of Sevarthis were excellent. I would like to make a particular mention that this function was greatly attended by the all village communities of our place and their support and encouragement were overwhelming. This was exactly one of the objective of SNASS to bring a fusion of our members from outstation as well as the local village people. Of course people from outstations also attended the function and sought the blessing of Sri Nithyakalyani amman

The function was performed by 10 Vedic pandits who chanted Lalitha sahasranamam archana mantram and archanai was performed by 10 archakas. 10 batches of such archanas were conducted starting from 08-00AM to 7.00PM. to complete one lakh archanas.(Break for 2 hrs )

As usual the day started with Abhishekam for Swamy and Ambal which was followed by this archana. One note worthy point which I want to mention is that the first sankalpam was done in the name of the founder of Trust Sri M.Subramania sasthrigal ( fondly known as MS Sasthrigal/MS Mama). Also a special collective prayer ( Koottu Prarthanai) was also performed for him before the start of sankalpam for first batch for the speedy recovery of Sri MS Mama, who is unwell and we had to conduct this maiden Laksharhcanai in his absence but with his blessings.

Each batch of archanai was started with Sankalpams for the donors and at the end of the archanai in every batch Neyvadiyam and also Deepa alankaram were performed.

This was followed by distribution of Kumkum Prasadam for all devotees and also Coconut prasadam for the Donors individually by Vedic pandits. Neyvedya prasadam were distributed at the end of every batch.

For the after noon session, Sri Nithyakalyani amman was decorated by “Sandhanakappu” during the break time. The afternoon session of Archana was done with “Sandhanakappu”. It was one of the best alankaram we have ever seen and has been done by professional Archakas with their best effort which is to be lauded. One would be feel like, keep seeing Ambal with out blinking their eyes.

This will go a long way for seeking the blessings of Sri Nithyakalyani amman for all the SNASS members, Sevarthis as well as the local village members for a good health , happiness and prosperity.

We appreciate the donors, well wishers, Vedic pandits Archakas, each and every Sevarthis ( local as well as outstation) for the financial, physical and moral supports for making this maiden function such a grand success

We take this opportunity to pray Sri Nithyakalyani Ambika sametha Sri Vyagrapureeswara Awmy as well as Sri Neela meni Varadharaja Perumal for blessing SNASS to conduct for many more such spititual function and thereby seeking the blessings for all Sevaarthis.

Thanking you once again for your continued support
